. . <br /> 8/2/83 Page -4- <br /> Councilman Cussen Requested that the Police Department be noti- <br /> ficd so that they will patrol the area. <br /> PERMISSION GRANTED Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cussen seconded <br /> that Mr. Kim Burch be permitted to have <br /> a neighborhood party on August 6, 1983 <br /> from noon until 8:00 P.m. and that street <br /> closure be granted per his request. Question <br /> called for. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Barriers Administrator Wurl advised Mr. Burch that the <br /> barriers would be set on the side of the street <br /> and he could set them in place. <br /> LYNN K. RICHMOND - ANNEXATION Councilmembers had a copy of the letter and <br /> REQUEST map depicting the area. Request was for <br /> councilmembers to refer the matter to the <br /> Planning Commission for further review and <br /> recommendation. <br /> DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOP- Advised that it was a small parcel of appoxi- <br /> MENT RUPP mately 3 acres located in the southwestern <br /> part of the City adjacent to the Centennial <br /> Valley Mall grad. <br /> REFERRED TO PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cussen <br /> seconded that the Richmond Annexation request <br /> be referred to the Planning Commission for <br /> review and recommendation. Question called <br /> for . All in favor_ Motion carried unanimously. <br /> ELECTION POLLING PLACES - Councilmembers had a copy of a memo from <br /> APPROVAL City Clerk Mudrock recommending polling places <br /> for the up-coming November Municipal Election. <br /> APPROVAL Councilman Cussen moved, Councilman Leary <br /> seconded that the following Polling Places <br /> be approved for the up-coming Municipal Election. <br /> Ward I - Louisville Middle School, Ward II <br /> Community Building - Ward III Louisville <br /> Elementary School. Question called for. <br /> All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> AUDIENCE COMMENTS Mrs. Stout stated that she lived adjacent to <br /> Denise Stout, 682 W. Juniper the Westfield I development and was repre- <br /> Court senting 10 homeowners in the area.
