• 110 111 1/9/84 Paq,' -9- BOARD or ADJUSTMENT AND APPEALS Councilwoman Morris moved that Norm Laurence be appointed to the Board of Adjustment t'nd Appeals for a 3 year term. Mayor Meier requested that Councilwoman Morris amend her motion that the job be readvertised. Mayor Meier seconded the motion as amended. Councilman Leary Remarked that Mr. Robert Ross was a current member and his letter of interest wasn't necessary? Administrator Wurl advised that it was a late one. Vote on the Motion Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. Norm Lawrence Appointed Mayor Meier stated that Mr. Norm Laurence had been appointed to the Ueard of Ad justmc.it and Appeals and thanked him for being present at the meeting. DENVER REGIONAL COUNCIL OF Councilman Leary nominated kick Luce for the GOVERNMENT AND ONE ALTERNATE City's representative to the Denver Req.:,nal Councilman Rick Luce Appointed Council of Government . Councilwoman Johnson seconded. Question called tar. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. Councilman Leary nominated Councilman Hobert Woodson to be alternate for the City to the Denver Regional Council of government s. Councilman Luce second, <1. Councilman Woodson Declined Councilman Woodson encour•eged council to vote for Councilwoman Betty Johnson. Council- man Woodson stated that due t e hem heavy schedule he prefers cd to decline the nomi n t ion. Councilman Leary moved, Mayor Meier seconded that the nominations be closed. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. Betty Johnson Alternate Councilman Leary moved that Councilwoman Betty Johnson be appointed .c l t e rna t .. to the Denver Regional Council of Governments. Council- woman Morris seconded.
