Councilwoman Morris seconded. <br /> Mayor Meier moved the nominations be closed. <br /> Councilman Luce seconded. Question called <br /> for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> John Leary Appointed Mayor Meier moved, Councilman Woodson seconded <br /> that John Leary be appointed to the Boulder <br /> County Consortium of Cites as the City's rep- <br /> resentative. Question called for. All in <br /> favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> ALTERNATE Councilman Luce nominated Councilwoman Morris <br /> as the Alternate to the Boulder County <br /> Consortium of Cities. Councilman Cussen <br /> seconded. <br /> Councilman Leary moved, Mayor Meier seconded <br /> that the nominations be closed. Question <br /> called for . All in favor. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Susan Morris Appointed Councilman Woodson moved, Mayor Meier seconded <br /> that Susan Morris be appointed as the Alternate <br /> to the Boulder County Consortium of Cities. <br /> Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> Don McKee, 1045 LaFarge Ave. Stated that about 5 years ,ago he came before <br /> this body and spoke on a number of occasions <br /> and he didn't feel that he was heard. He <br /> was here as Chairman of a group that called <br /> themselves Citizens Participating in Louis- <br /> ville' s future. A perfectly hororrible name to <br /> came up with by a committee and there isn' t <br /> a good acronym. Some other folks had other <br /> things they called us but he wouldn't go into <br /> that. He thought the name turned out to be <br /> a little more prophetic that they thought at <br /> the time and he particularly thought about <br /> the word participating. In the first way <br /> that that became prophetic is that 3 of <br /> the pepple here were pretty hard-core members <br /> of the group. The second thing was that we <br /> as a group and some of the others of you <br /> learned how to do .s petition for referendum <br /> and therefore participate as citizens pretty <br /> directly in the government of Louisville and <br /> he would remind you that we have not forgotten <br /> how to do that, folks. Keep on your toes. <br />
