All in favor. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Councilmembers elect took their respective <br /> chairs at the council table as was designated <br /> by the seating arrangement of the Mayor. <br /> SWEARING IN CEREMONIES Mayor Meier, Councilmembers Rick Luce, <br /> Susan Morris, Robert Woodson, Betty Johnson, <br /> John Leary, Michael Cussen, City Treasurer <br /> Hermon, and City Clerk Mudrock were sworn <br /> in at one time by Judge Lawrence Enrietto. <br /> Judge Enrietto then congratulated everyone. <br /> SIGNING OF OATHS OF OFFICE All elected officials signed the oaths of <br /> Office. <br /> CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL Mayor Meier called the meeting to order of <br /> CALL the new council at 7:48 P.M. and the roll <br /> was called. <br /> ADOPTION OF RULES OF Councilman Luce moved, Councilman Cussen <br /> CONDUCT OF MEETINGS seconded that this council adopt the Colorado <br /> Municipal League's Conduct of Meetings rules <br /> as outlined in their guide which is based on <br /> Roberts Rules of Order Revised, and secondly <br /> added wherein any case those Colorado Muni- <br /> cipal League Conduct of Meeting rules do <br /> not specify precisely what would transpire <br /> in a pariiamentary sense that Roberts Rules <br /> of Order Revise dd be the guiding factor. <br /> Councilman Leary Asked if the City Attorney would be the <br /> Parliamentarian parliamentarian, is that the understanding? <br /> Mayor Meier stated that he assumed he would <br /> be and if that is not necessarily his role <br /> felt council could advertise and receive <br /> sOmmone that would be willing to be a parlia- <br /> mentarian other than the City Attorney. Until <br /> this decision is made felt he could serve <br /> under that purpose. <br />
