' •
M E M O R A N D U M
TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
FROM: LEON A. WURL, CITY ADMINISTRATOR
DATE: APRIL 27, 1984
RE: CITY COUNCIL AGENDA FOR THE REGULAR MEETING OF MAY 1, 1984
Item 1 Through 7 - Self Explanatory
Item 8. Public Comments
Item 9. General Council Items
A. DRCOG PRESENTATION - FRED ALLEN, MAYOR PRO--TEM, WESTMINISTER
Mr. Allen will be in attendance to present the Mayor and
Council with a plaque. The metropolitan providers group
through the group participating in the Denver Water Program
won a first place award recently at the DRCOG Awards banquet
and Mr. Allen is presenting you a plaque for our participation.
B. MAYOR'S TASK FORCE - FINAL REPORT
The Mayor requested that I place this on the agenda. Mem-
bers of the Task Force will be in attendance to present the
final report.
C. CITY COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 19, 1984 -- RESCHEDULE
We are requesting that Council change the meeting to June .
18, 1984 as the Mayor and many of the council will be in
attendance at the Colorado Municipal League annual meeting.
D. WARD 3 COUNCIL ELECTION - DESIGNATE POLLING PLACE
It is required that Council designate the polling place
and the City Clerk is recommending that the Louisville
Elementary School be designated the Ward 3 polling place
for the June 12th Special Election.
Z. R. E. TROUSIL - WATER TAP REQUEST
Enclosed is the information that was submitted at the time
of Mr. Trousil' s original request. Also we have spoken to
his Attorney on the phone and I understand he is requesting
a 4" fire line and a 3/4" service tap. The problems asso-
ciated with this is that we have no provision for charging
any fee for fire line taps. We have never had one that
applied outside the City. In the City we treat that the
same as a fire hydrant and do not make any charge for that.
Somehow to me that doesn't seem appropriate outside the
City limits. I assume that Mr. Trousil and his Attorney
will be in attendance on Tuesday to answer any questions.
rte...n...4” ....- r.s as...air--- - .rrt.a.u..r- - -- awe.;...i..rnernm r._..r.a.-..ranaar.-fir..- - ._
