PROCLAMATION - OLDER AMERICANS MONTH A copy of this proclamation is enclosed. I. AMERICAN LEGION - SPECIAL EVENTS LIQUOR LICENSE - PUBLIC HEARING A copy of the application is enclosed for Council's review. J. PUMPERNICKEL'S - LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION - PUBLIC HEARING This is a new application and will be located in the Fisher building at the corner of Front and Spruce Sts. The infor- mation relating to the application is enclosed. K. THE DEPOT - LIQUOR LICENSE TRANSFER The information relating to this transfer is enclosed. L. CABLE TELEVISION TASK FORCE - ANN TREMENTOZZI - DISCUSSION OF DUTIES. A copy of Mrs. Tementozzi's memo is enclosed for Council's consideration. We estimate this year's revenue from the franchise fee to be approximately $10,000. I would also point out that in this year's budget of course was appro- priated to the General Fund and of course was allocated at the time the budget was prepared, with no other con- sideration given to any expenditures from there other than the $2500 appropriated for Cable TV operators. At any rate Mrs. Trementozzi would like to discuss with Council the duties of the proposed Cable TV Board. 10. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT A. ORDINANCE #827 - WATER TAP FEE INCREASE - 1ST READING, SET DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING. This proposed increase is done in conjunction with the Homart Agreement which provided for a 2-step increase but the City Attorney and I discussed this and it would save the City some money; and of course going through this whole business of an ordinance change again in' less than a year, we felt' if we raised it $450 rather than the $350 that was provided at this time. $450 was the number we agreed to go to next year. The suggested date for the public hearing is your meeting of June 5 , 1984.
