Councilmembers had a copy of the resolution
WOODSON honoring Mr. Woodson for his service as
Councilman and Mayor Meier read it in its
entirety. Mayor Meier then presented the
Resolution to Mr. Woodson on behalf of
the Council with their appreciation for
a job well done.
Mayor Pro-tem John Leary Commented since Mr. Woodson was moving away
•
Honorary Building Permit and we thought at some time he would like
to come back to Louisville, we thought we
would reserve a building permit for him.
However, knowing that to be consistent with
his philosophy that we definitely have to
control growth and be selective where we
build, we have attached conditions to the
building permit. That it will come from
the "Other" category. The conditions for the
"Other" category are: Homes built in this
category must have higher floors so an indi-
vidual's feet can reach the floor despite the
chair height. Individuals with homes in this
category must attend all council meetings
that go beyond midnight. Absolutely
no intelligent or stupid telephone answering
units will be allowed in these homes.
Individuals in these homes will not be allowed
to own white dogs.
The density of single family detached homes
in this category must be greater than 5
per acre.
Homes in this category must be assessed
higher than any other member of council.
Homes in this category must be built on
the City Golf Course.
Houses in this category can only be pur-
chased by individuals who have been sued
at one time by the owners and developers
of the land involved.
There has been some work done on the inspec-
tion already - it was noted that the sewer
plant was overloaded, etc. Mr. Leary than
presented the Building Permit to Mr. Woodson
Mayor Meier presented a money clip to Mr.
Woodson bearing the seal of the City of
Louisville with the comment that we knew
the only reason he was leaving the City was
because of money. No one would leave
Louisville for any other reason. On behalf
of himself and council expressed appreciation
