It was my hope
from the offset of this study to produce a
series of statements that clearly represented
all the attitudes and perspectives of the
Task Force membership. This we, together,
did manage to accomplish.
Second it is the hope of the Task Force that
our recommendations will receive prompt and
early consideration by the Council, Planning
Commission, and the City Staff.
Third, since we wrote this document as a
group it would be appropriate for each member
of the Task Force an opportunity to respond
to any questions which might arise from the
reading of this report.
Fourth and lastly, I believe the membership
of the Task Force should be praised for their
unselfish and time consuming contributions
to the City of Louisville. This was an im-
portant experience for me personally and I
am happy to have shared so much with such
a remarkable group of individuals. Thank
you, Mayor Meier for this opportunity".
Signed John Topf.
Several members of the Mayor' s Task Force
were in attendance to answer ay questions.
Mr. Ackerman then read the summary of their
report.
