Unfortunately we were unable to accomplish this pre the June 18th meeting. As a matter of fact , everything from an informational point of view was not available until yesterday, June 27th. Although touch and go, we were able to stay ahead of the game until June 22nd. When Karl called me in Vail and informed ■e that we were losing ground and that the weather prediction indicated at least three days of 90' or above, and he felt he couldn 't maintain a safe level in the tank for fire protection and recommended we institute sprinkling restriction. I asked his to contact those Councilmeabera in town and I would visit with those in Vail before we moved ahead with such a plan. Under the circumstances we had no option but to go ahead with the restrictions. You will receive a total update at the scheduled Special Meeting of June 30, 1984. Our water engineers, Rocky Mountain Consultants, will be in attendance as Well as the City Staff to address any questions Council may have as relates to this subject.
