transmission facilities of the City; prescribing <br /> the form of said bonds; providing for the levy of <br /> ad valorem taxes and the application of revenues <br /> derived from the water system of the City to pay <br /> the same; providing for a part of the proceeds of <br /> said bonds to be deposited in a separate escrow <br /> account for the payment of the bonds being <br /> refunded; providing other details in connection <br /> therewith; and declaring an emergency." <br /> Mayor Meier opened the Public Hearing and asked <br /> for public comments. None. Mayor asked for <br /> Council comments. Luce wanted be sure that the <br /> public was aware that the reason the City was <br /> refinancing the old dept was to save the City some <br /> interest money. Through refinancing the City will <br /> now be able to be in the position to save money as <br /> well as to have money to commence a project that <br /> is needed in the City. <br /> Mayor Meier closed the Public Hearing and moved <br /> that Ordinance #859 be adopted. Luce seconded and <br /> the ordinance was adopted 7-0 by roll call. <br /> RENAMING A PARK IN <br /> HONOR OF CLEO MUDROCK Upon Council's request, Hioco presented <br /> recommendations for renaming a park in honor of <br /> Cleo Mudrock, retired City Clerk. At an earlier <br /> work session, Heritage Park and South Park were <br /> the two parks discussed . South Park was generally <br /> agreed upon as it was closer to Cleo's <br /> neighborhood. <br /> Mayor Meier moved that South Park be renamed as <br /> the "Cleo Mudrock Park" . Johnson seconded. The <br /> motion was approved unanimously . <br /> Fauson asked that a ceremony be expedite for a <br /> dedication with Cleo present . Hioco hopes to have <br /> this within on: and a half weeks. <br /> RESOLUTION #9 <br /> BLUE PARROT PUB Wanush related to Council this proposal for <br /> expansion of the existing building south along <br /> Main Street for a kitchen addition and new take- <br /> out waiting area. Planning Commission approved <br /> the recommendation with two condition at the <br /> Public Hearing on May 14. The two conditions are : <br /> 1) Two trees in the parking lot be re-commissioned <br /> to the site plan; 2) • physical barrier, right- <br /> turn-in, right-turn-out . be added to the site <br /> plan. <br /> Mayor Maier moved that Resolution #9, Series 1985, <br /> be adopted. Luce seconded and the motion was <br /> 6 <br />
