S
Cussen asked if the poor television reception of
tonight's Council Meeting was just in-house or if
the reception was poor to all cable subscribers?
Hioco felt that it was only an in-hous•
problem.
Handley responded to questions Council directed to
staff at the last Council Meeting.
First, the traffic light at the Middle School will
be removed as soon as school is out as there is no
longer • need for it. The power poles will not be
removed in the event a need should arise.
The "No Pedestrian signs on McCaslin Blvd. were
investigated and a need has not been determined.
If a reason cannot be determined, the signs will
be removed in approximately two weeks.
The construction of sidewalks on So. Boulder Road
is being scheduled as soon as possible with Public
Service as this is a very busy street and needs
pedestrian facilities.
Rautenstraus and Handley have been meeting with
Mr. Suitts to resolve the issue of improvements
and City of Louisville acceptance of the property
in Centennial Valley.
The light sequencing at the Superior Interchange
on Q.S. 36 is satisfactory to Boulder County. As
demands increase they may decide to allow more
time to different lanes of the intersection.
Luce asked what studies were used to make this
determination. Luce feels there seems to be a bias
for people coming off the interchange and
attempting to turn left and would like to see if
there is some recourse the City could pursue. Tom
Phare will investigate further.
EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Meier moved that the room be cleared for an
Executive Session.
11
