and Washington Ave. The traffic signal
installation is to be funded from the City's
Annual Federal Aid Urban Secondary Funds (MA[JS).
Use of TAUS funds require the City to submit a
funding application to the Colorado Department of
aigbways for their review and approval. Staff has
submitted the appropriate forms, however, before
the State will finally fund the project they need
a resolution adopted by City Council requesting
funds for the traffic signal projects.
Mayor Paxson moved that ]resolution 117, Series
19St, be adopted. Mohr seconded. Unanimous.
WARVWOURG ADMIRATION
RRQUEST Wanush explained to Council that Dennis Drumm,
vice President of RR Development, is requesting on
behalf of Xlubert Wareabourg, that the City of
Louisville initiate annexation review of his 92
acre parcel situated north of Cherry Street and
west of Jackson Avenue.
Staff recommends this request be referred to
Planning Commission for review and recommendation
on the annexation and on soning.
Concerns were voiced by sons Councilmeabers with
regard to the timing and density of this
annexation.
Council asked that Planning Commission minutes be
made available to Councilaeabers during the review
and Public Bearing process, and encouraged all
Councilaembers to attend these meetings.
• • Mohr moved that the Warembourq annexation request
be referred to the Planning Commission for review
and recommendation on the annexation and soning.
Mayor Tausoa seconded. Unanimous.
APPROVAL OP AUTSORISATION TO
OBTAIN SIDS - Culp SML PROGRAM
Included in the 1916 Capital Improvement Program
are funds for street resurfacing, explained Phare.
because of • reduction in estimated revenue, the
street resurfacing program is being budgeted at
$34,200.
Ssyaaaski asked that this itea be pulled from the
Consent Calendar for a clarification. Phare
explained that the ten streets chosen for this
project are 'relatively important to the City's
street system and are concentrated to allow for a
more effective contract by not being scattered all
over the town."
S
