Mayor Fauson moved that Ordinance 1886 be put out <br /> for publication and a Public Hearing be held on <br /> April 15, 1986. Scarpella seconded. Unanimous. <br /> ORDINANCE 1067 - FIRST RIADII1G - <br /> AUTHORIZE WATER BOND REFUNDING <br /> Rautenatraus read by title only Ordinance 1887, <br /> 'An Ordinance authorising the issuance by the City <br /> of Louisville, Colorado, of General Obligation <br /> water Refunding Bonds, Series 1986, in the <br /> principal amount of 13,310,000 for the purpose of <br /> refunding valid and outstanding General Obligation <br /> Water Bonds of the City; prescribing the form of <br /> said bonds; providing for the levy of Ad Valorem <br /> Taxes and the application of revenues derived from <br /> the water system of the City to pay the same; <br /> providing for a part of the proceeds of said bonds <br /> to be deposited in a separate escrow account for <br /> the payment of the bonds being refunded; providing <br /> other details in connection therewith; and <br /> declaring an emergency.' Staff recommends placing <br /> the Ordinance out for publication and setting a <br /> Public Bearing for April 15, 1986. <br /> Wundley explained that this Ordinance would <br /> actually begin the process through First Reading <br /> of issuing the bonds. <br /> Mayor Fauson moved that Ordinance 1887 be put out <br /> for publication and a Public Bearing be held on <br /> April 15, 1986. Unanimous. <br /> Mayor Fauson thanked the Finance Committee and <br /> staff, specifically Sharon Asti-Caranci, for their <br /> time and effort in bringing these two ordinances <br /> to Council. <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO AWARD CONTRACT - HIGH ZONE <br /> PUMP STATION - WHEATLAIID INDUSTRIES, INC. <br /> 'Wadley explained that Council and staff had <br /> discussed at the time Council toured the City <br /> facilities several months previously the <br /> possibility of installing a new high sone pump. <br /> On February 18, 1986, Council approved <br /> authorisation to proceed with engineering and bids <br /> for installation of this pump. Bids were obtained <br /> on March 27, 1986, with Wheatland Industries, Inc. <br /> being the apparent low bidder. <br /> Phare stated that the current pump house has most <br /> of the plumbing in for this pump. Other pumps <br /> could be added with the addition of another <br /> structure. The primary benefit of this pump, <br /> 6 <br />
