• <br /> Council thanked Kr. Drago stating that this <br /> memorial is long overdue and feel this is a very <br /> important project. <br /> After Council discussion, it was decided that the <br /> City of Louisville would commit to a donation of <br /> not less than $200, but would consider a larger <br /> contribution if in fact during budget delibera- <br /> tions later this year more monies might be <br /> available to add to the approved $200. <br /> Mr. Drago also informed Council of the upcoming <br /> Memorial Day ceremony at the State Capitol from <br /> sunrise to sunset. 5,400 flags will be placed on <br /> the grounds with an honor roll reading (5 hours). <br /> a parade and finally, taps. Mr. Drago invited <br /> everyone attend. <br /> PROCLAMATION Mayor Pauson added this item to the Agenda stating <br /> that ha was proclaiming February 28th as Jess Owen <br /> Day in the City of Louisville to help raise funds <br /> for a heart transplant which Mr. Owen hopes to <br /> received very soon. <br /> APPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS <br /> AND APPEALS Wanush explained to Council that three vacancies <br /> exist on the Board of Adjustment and Appeals, one <br /> full member and two associate members. <br /> Appointments are for three year terms. Kr. Robert <br /> Ross has submitted a request to be reappointed to <br /> the Board as he has served for the past three <br /> years as a full member. Mr. G.R. Sundt and Mr. <br /> David Smith asked to serve as Associate Members. <br /> Council asked that Wanush set up interviews with <br /> all three gentlemen prior to the next Council <br /> meeting. <br /> ORDINANCE #925 - ZONING AMENDMENTS - <br /> PUBLIC BEARING Rautenstraus read by title only Ordinance #925, <br /> "An Ordinance amending Chapter 17.72 of the <br /> Louisville Municipal Code concerning uses <br /> permitted in Commercial Office Planning Areas in <br /> Planned Community Zoned Districts; and declaring <br /> an emergency.• Proper publication and notice of <br /> public hearing were established. <br /> Mayor Pauson opened the public bearing. <br /> Wanush stated that in order to clarify the use <br /> permitted in a Planned Community Zoned District <br /> (PC= - Commercial), staff is requesting that a <br /> provision be added to Section 17.72.909 allowing <br /> Research/Office and Corporate uses as long as <br /> 2 <br />
