Louisville Housing Authority <br /> 2/23/87 Page Two <br /> the actual operating expense for 1986 was also less than <br /> anticipated. <br /> Baker, also stated that bids on carpeting for the Community Room <br /> at Regal Square will be presented at the nut meeting. Radon <br /> kits for sample readings have been ordered for the Regal Square <br /> and Hillside Square. Baker also reported that the HUD Equal <br /> Opportunity representative had visited to ensure no project <br /> segregation. The HUD Equal +Opportunity report will issued at s <br /> later data. <br /> Baker reported that a "blanket bond" for the Chair and <br /> Vice-Chair of the (HA would be a good ides. Staff is presently <br /> bonded. <br /> The Regal Square van has been turned over to Special Transit <br /> Systems. There are two vans being used by Special Transit <br /> Systems, both titled to the City of Louisville. <br /> 3. Executive Director' s Re . ort - Jim Liles <br /> Housing Trust Fund Bill - Liles reported that the Rousing <br /> Trust Fund bill was defeated . The Muusins Staff is trying <br /> to support the Division of Housing fundini which would <br /> provide seed money. This year, there was only $400,000 to <br /> operating statewide. <br /> Cosmuntt Develo meet Block Graat (CDBG - Liles reported <br /> that results of the CDBC proposal, which would provide rehab <br /> to units in Louisville, Lafayette, and Superior, should be <br /> received within the next few weeks. Coal mine subsidence is <br /> a concern to the CDBC funding. Ploodplains is a problem in <br /> Louisville. Kaye Brandenburg, Mousing Planner, is looking <br /> at the process to rehab units located within the floodplain. <br /> LCDC Fourplex - Liles reported that the four-plex transfer <br /> is still in the works. An annual report and budget on the <br /> LCDC still needs to be submitted to the Farmers Home <br /> Administration. <br /> There being no further business of the Louisville Housing <br /> Authority, the meeting was adjourned at 8: 10 p.m. <br />
