Be'lock stated that the proposed houses are step <br /> up housing and would fill a need in Louisville. <br /> Mayor Pauson stated that he would recommend this <br /> project to the Planning Commission, however, he <br /> has a concern over the density of the residential <br /> part of the plan. <br /> Ssymanski stated that the City has been in <br /> negotiations regarding a golf course at another <br /> site and asked Nundlay if this proposal would <br /> affect these negotiations. <br /> Hundley stated that the basic structure of the <br /> agreement could be used in either case, but it <br /> does tend to confuse the issue somewhat. Bundley <br /> is proceeding on a detailed lease agreement for <br /> the Davidson Mesa site and, unless instructed <br /> otherwise, will continue. Rundley suggested that <br /> clarification regarding site location within the <br /> next month would be desirable. <br /> Ssymanaki stated that the policy to refer these <br /> requests to the Planning Commission does serve a <br /> purpose 'whether we believe in them or not.' <br /> Szymanski stated that he will vote to have it <br /> referred but stated, 'I don't see where there is a <br /> community of interest involved here and I don't <br /> feel good about this at all.' <br /> Mayor Pauson stated that it is his desire to <br /> continue with current lease negotiations until <br /> Planning Commission reviews the Coal Creek project <br /> in detail. <br /> Mohr stated that he is also for referring this <br /> proposal to the Planning Commission and continuing <br /> with the ongoing efforts to construct a golf <br /> course on the Davidson Mesa. However, Mohr wanted <br /> the petitioners on notice that there is no <br /> expressed or implied acceptance of thi⢠project by <br /> Council's referring the project on to the Planning <br /> Commission. <br /> Bellock stated that he is very well aware of the <br /> ongoing negotiations for a golf course on the <br /> Davidson Mesa site and that certainly the issue is <br /> to provide the best golf course to the City and <br /> ask that the final agreement not be site specific, <br /> but could be applied to either location. <br /> Szymanski stated that the golf course is not the <br /> major issue with this proposal.
