CITY OF LOUISVILLE OCTOBER 6, 1987 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING The City Council of the City of Louisville met in Regular Session in the Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Fauson called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following persons were present: Councilwembers: Randy Carnival, Steve Anderson, Bob Szymanski, John Sackett, and Mike Mohr Staff presents Terry Hundley, City Administrator Curt Rautenstraus, City Attorney Larry Lillo, Director of Community Services Rich Wanush, Director of Community Development Sharon Asti-Caranci, Director of Financial Services Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety Also present: Pan Ferris, City Clerk William Hermon, Treasurer Absent: Councilman Alan Scarpella APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Mayor Fauson asked for any additions to the Agenda. None. Mayor Fauson moved that the Agenda be approved as submitted. Szymanski seconded. Unanimous. APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT CALENDAR Mayor Fauson asked for any changes to the Consent Calendar. None. Mayor Fauson moved and Szymanski seconded to approve the Consent Calendar as submitted. Unanimous. CONSENT CALENDAR: Approval of Minutes Approval of Bills Approval of Liquor License Renewals - Double Happy, Safeway Store, Colaccis and Darts REGULAR BUSINESS: RESOLUTION #22 - PUBLIC HEARING - FINDING OP FACTS AND CONCLUSIONS - MENHICX WEST ANNEXATION PETITION Hundley explained that at the last Council Meeting, Council continued the public hearing on Resolution #22 and postponed action on Ordinance #937 and Ordi- nance #938. Although optimistic that a negotiated agreement with the Town of Superior could be reached outside of the District Court action, by tonight's meeting, an agreement has not yet been struck. Bundley stated that he has met twice with repre- sentatives of Superior, but a basis for a negotiated agreement has not yet been determined. Hundley recommended the City proceed to obtain a timely hearing in District Court on this issue so 1
