• intersection of Centennial Parkway and Century Drive. Rocky Mountain Consultants, project engineers, reviewed the bids and found them to be in order. The low bidder, Diamond Contracting Corp. ' ($824,037.25), are qualified and capable of completing the pipeline portion of the project. The • amount budged for this project was $$90,000 and the project budget in the 1987 Water Bond Issue is adequate to fund the pipeline portion of the pro- ject. Staff recommends the award of bid to Diamond Constructing Corp. in the amount of $824,037.25 and recoanond that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorised to sign the contract documents on behalf of the City. Mayor Fauson moved that Council award Diamond Contracting Corporation the contract for the Treated Muter Storage project pipeline at their low unit price bid of $824,037.25. Mohr seconded. Unanimous. APPROVAL OP CH8RRTWOOD SUBD1V1SIOR AGRRISZST AMRUDKENT Sundley explained that the Cherrywood Subditisioe was approved in May, 1986. The subdivider at the time was R.B. Development Company who was purchasing the ground from Roaart. A subdivision agreement was negotiated and signed with A.S. Development but the purchase of the property frog locart was never con- summated. Subsequently, Homart has requested some chanaas in the agreement. Specifically, that have asked that the tot lot ne removed from the plan and that the City pay for sod and irrigation in the entire drainage area. A draft agreement has not been received. Rundiey stated that Dave Stahl, Soaart Development Corp. is present to answer ques- tions and concerns. Dow Stahl, Rosart Development Corp., addressed Council stating that Bogart has decided to move !onward and do the lot development of Cherrywood Subdivision in two phases. The first phase will be 60 lots adjacent to Cherry Street, east of the Centennial Center. W. certainly recognise the obligations - commitments that RS Development cad* when he processed the p1st, but they have been unable to successfully move forward, and Smart Development Company, as the owners, decided to now move forward and develop the lots. And we have mad* a couple of requests of the City which to date I think we've been unsbl to resolve.
