<br /> ORDINANCE NO. 972 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ADDING, REPEALING AND REENACTING CERTAIN <br /> SECTIONS IN TITLE 13, CHAPTER 13.12, OF THE <br /> LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> REGARDING ISSUANCE OF WATER TAP PERMITS AND <br /> PAYMENT OF WATER TAP FEES <br /> WHEREAS, city staff and City Council have reviewed City <br /> procedures and the City Code with regard to water tap fees and <br /> permits and have determined that a new section regarding water <br /> tap permits should be added to the Louisville Municipal Code and <br /> that Section 13.12.020 of the Louisville Municipal Code should be <br /> repealed and reenactedi <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section 1. The following section is hereby added to Chapter <br /> 13.12, Title 13 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> 13.12.010. PERMIT REQUIRED. <br /> No water tap shall be made upon any water main or any other <br /> portion of the waterworks of the City without first securing a <br /> permit therefor. The application for a water tap permit shall be <br /> made in writing upon a form furnished by the City, and shall <br /> state clearly the tap size, the address and name of the person <br /> applying for the tap, and any other information which the City <br /> may reasonably require. <br /> Section 2. section 13.12.020 of the Louisville Municipal <br /> Code is hereby repealed and reenacted as follows: <br /> 13.12.020. TAP FEE - GENERALLY. <br /> A. Unless subsection 13.12.020(B) applies, no water tap <br /> permit shall be issued until payment in full of the applicable <br /> water tap fee. The owner shall be responsible for all labor, <br /> materials and excavation necessary for installation of said water <br /> tap. The City shall perform all necessary inspections to deter- <br /> mine that all work performed is in accordance with the Uniform <br /> Plumbing Code. <br /> B. PaYment of all applicable water tap fees may, at the <br /> option of the owner, be deferred to a time not later than the <br /> first subdivision of the subject property if each of the <br /> following conditions is met: <br />
