<br />ORDINANCE NO. 956 <br /> <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 13 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />CONCERNING ADMINISTRATION, BILLING AND COLLECTION OF CHARGES <br />APPLICABLE TO WATER AND SANITARY SEWERAGE SERVICES AND AMENDING <br />THE CHARGE FOR BULK WATER SALES <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City staff has determined that certain portions <br />of the Municipal Code concerning the billing and collection of <br />water and sewer changes should be amended; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has concluded that it is necessary <br />to amend certain portions of the Municipal Code in order to more <br />clearly organize the provisions thereof with respect to water and <br />sewer billings and collections and to change the time for <br />imposition of fees for delinquent payment of charges~ and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has concluded that the following <br />amendments are necessary to regulate and administer water and <br />sewer service within the city. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section 1. Sections 13.04.070, 13.04.080, 13.04.090 of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 2. Section 13.08.110, of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 3. Sections 13.12.080, 13.12.090 (D), of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 4. The following sections are hereby added to Title <br />13 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> <br />13.12.080 - Bulk Water Charqes. Water service not supplied <br />to a specific property location by a standard tap shall be <br />charged as follows: the bulk water user shall pay an annual <br />permit fee of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) plus the sum of <br />One Dollar and Sixty Cents ($1.60) per thousand gallons used, or <br />such user may pay on the same basis as those customers served by <br />meter as set forth under this chapter. In such event, the <br />customer shall request meter service, pay a proper deposit for <br />the meter, and also pay to the City the cost of setting the <br />meter. <br />
