<br /> EXHIBIT "A" TO INTERGOVl ~ENTAL AGREEMENT <br />Director Norman Smith moved that the following Resolution be <br />adopted: <br /> BEFORE THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br /> W-470 AUTHORITY <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 18 <br />RE: AUTHORIZATION TO NEGOTIATE AND ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS FOR <br /> PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING, TOLL FORECASTING AND LAND USE <br /> STUDY SERVICES. <br />BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 12, previously adopted by <br />the Board on October 7, 1987, is amended to read as follows: <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the Chairman is hereby authorized to ne- <br />gotiate and enter into agreements between the Authority and <br />one or more third parties for preliminary engineering, toll <br />forecasting and land use study services with respect to <br />W-470, and the Chairman and other appropriate officers of the <br />Authority are hereby authorized to take all other actions <br />they deem necessary or desirable in connection with such <br />agreements; provided that such agreements shall not obligate <br />the Authority to expend more than $734,000; provided further <br />that such authorization is contingent upon the members of the <br />Authority agreeing, in accordance with their respective bud- <br />geting and appropriation policies, to loan the following <br />amounts to the Authority for such purposes in a manner and at <br />times such that funds are available from such loans to pay <br />all amounts due under such agreements when due.
