Award Bid to Honnen Equipment for 2010 Rubber Tire Backhoe <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />No public comments. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />Mayor Sisk reported on a Mayoral Proclamation, which recognized Mountain High <br />Appliance for their 17 years in business. He congratulated Brad Barnett and all the <br />st <br />Mountain High employees. He also reported on the success of this years’1 Street <br />Faire evening and all the summer events. He wished to recognize two individuals, who <br />clean up after the Street Faire at a future Council meeting. <br />CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br />City Manager Fleming reported on the following: <br /> Water Meter Project: The City is changing out all water meters. There are a few <br />residents and businesses, who have not responded to the City request to contact <br />the contractor to switch out their water meters. He requested those individuals <br />make an appointment to have their water meters replaced. <br /> McCaslin Interchange Funding: Deputy City Manager Balser reported that <br />$720,000 dollars previously earmarked for the Northeast Loop at the McCaslin <br />Interchange had been approved for improvements to the intersection of Dillon <br />Road and McCaslin Boulevard to facilitate mobility at the Interchange. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />RESOLUTION No. 31, SERIES 2010 – A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST <br />FOR A SPECIAL REVIEW USE (SRU) TO ALLOW FOR THE OPERATION OF A <br />PRIVATE SCHOOL ON A PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1436 MAIN STREET AND <br />ZONED COMMERCIAL NEIGHBORHOOD (CN) (CONTINUED FROM JUNE 1, 2010) <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br />Planning Director Russ explained the applicant, the Patchwork School, is requesting <br />approval of a Special Review Use (SRU) to permit the operation of a private elementary <br />school on a property located at 1436 Main Street. They propose to use the existing <br />structure at 1436 Main Street without any expansion or interior improvements. With the <br />existing Patchwork School established at 1428 Main Street, the applicant would like to <br />22 <br /> <br />
