This survey is one of many ways the City is educating our residents about the historic resources of
Louisville. The Historic Preservation Commission has recently started a “Reasons to Landmark Your
Building” campaign, including public workshops and mailings. This survey compliments existing
programs including annual Preservation Awards, Design Assistance for remodels and additions to
historic homes, and continuing information about best practices in historic preservation.
At the completion of this survey all property owners included in the survey will receive a copy of their
survey to help them better understand and appreciate the resource they own. In addition, copies will be
available for review at the Louisville Historical Museum, the Louisville Library, the Planning
Department, and on the City’s web site at www.LouisvilleCO.gov.
Long-range plans include the comprehensive survey of all of the remaining areas of Old Town
Louisville and the disbursement of sales tax funds throughout Old Town Louisville to help maintain our
historic resources. Surveying is a key component of the preservation program and one of the best ways
to reach multiple property owners with detailed historic information about their properties.
G.Scope of Work Write a detailedoutline of the work you propose to accomplish in this grant, which is
called a SCOPE OF WORK.
