Dandelion spraying to be done by the City of Louisville, proposing five areas to
spray. Public relations around this would be helpful and the spraying will be spot
spraying to be cautious and responsible.

VII. Chris will be planting Cherry trees on Cherry Street. A thank-you letter will go to
Home Depot for Arbor Day trees. Mike and Chris will draft this letter.

VIII. Reviewed the Kerr end of Season report.

IX. The recent study session with City Council seemed to yield no sense of direction
with regard to the commercial landscape maintenance issue. It may be helpful to
investigate what other cities are doing. An alternate approach may be to pull the
original landscape plan and report missing trees on the property to the owner.

X. HFAB would like to ask new Planning Director, Troy Russ to attend a future
meeting to discuss landscape maintenance issue prior to the next study session with
City Council.

XI. Discussion about Conoco-Phillips and the City's Industrial and Commercial
Landscape Guidelines. Conoco-Phillips is hoping for LEED - Platinum certification.

City of Louisville
Parks & Recreation Department 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027
303.335.4735 (phone) 303.335.4738 (fax) www.louisvilleco.gov
