Staff Introduction - Professional Services Contract with TischlerBise <br /> for Impact Fee Study <br />Bill Simmons explained that City Council has requested that the City update the <br />methodology for its impact fees related to the need for new capital facilities <br />resulting from residential development. Staff presented a proposed consultant <br />agreement and scope of work from TischlerBise to conduct a study of the current <br />fees and calculate proposed impact fees for library; parks, open space and trails; <br />and recreation. The study will also review transportation, municipal facilities and <br />police impact fees as a result of the finalized Comprehensive Plan. <br />5. City Manager Items <br />Copies of the Advance Agenda and the Meeting Calendar were distributed. The <br />Agenda for the February 21,2006 meeting was reviewed. <br />Bill Simmons reminded City Council of the Heat Relief Dinner at the Senior <br />Center on February 16, 2006. <br />6.
