<br />I: City Council <br />City of Louisville Study Session Summary <br /> January 24, 2006 <br /> City Hall, Council Chambers <br /> 749 Main Street <br /> 7:00 PM <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in a study session at 7:00 p.m. in <br />Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. The following persons <br />were present - <br />City Council Present: Mayor Charles Sisk, Councilmembers: Sackett, <br /> Clabots, Marsella, Yarnell, Muckle, Brown (7:15 p.m.) <br />Staff Present: Bill Simmons, City Manager <br /> Heather Balser, Asst. City Manager for Govt. Relations <br /> Ken Johnstone, Principal Planner <br /> Belinda Goebel, Administrative Assistant <br />Discussion -Implementation - 2005 Citywide Comprehensive Plan <br />Bill Simmons, City Manager, provided a brief overview on implementation of the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />Ken Johnstone reviewed opportunity areas 1-7, referring to the maps included in <br />the City Council Study Session packets. He explained that the staff <br />communication focuses on Chapters 3 & 4 of the comprehensive plan, <br />implementation and phasing, as well as the population growth projection table. <br />Council asked Ken Johnstone to identify the specific locations of the Schempp <br />Parcel, the Hamm Property, and the Alkonis Property. <br />Discussion centered on the number of residential use-by-right units authorized <br />under the North Louisville General Development Plan. <br />The process for reevaluating the Comprehensive Plan was discussed. <br />Discussion included whether Council could discuss and redefine certain portions <br />of the plan or whether Council would be required to discuss and evaluate the <br />entire plan. <br />Council suggested that staff calculate the number of residential units currently <br />authorized through General Development Plans and use-by-right zoning so as to <br /> City of Louisville <br />City Council 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 <br />303.335.4533 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.ci./ouisville.co.us <br />
