Appendix to Chapter <br />7, Covered Mall Buildings; Chapter 32, Reroofing; Chapter 49, Patio <br />Covers; Chapter 51, Elevators, Dumbwaiters, Escalators and Moving <br />Walks; and Chapter 70, Excavation and Grading are hereby specifically <br />adopted as part of the Uniform Building Code, 1985 Edition, as <br />required by Section 103 therein. <br /> <br />Section 15.04.060 SECTION 307 AMENDED-CERTIFICATES OF <br />OCCUPANCY. Section 307(a) of the Uniform Building Code, 1985 <br />Edition, shall read as follows: <br /> <br />"No building or structure in any type of occupancy shall <br />be used or occupied, and no change in the existing occupancy <br />classification of a building or structure or portion thereof shall be <br />made until the building oficial has issued a Certificate of Occupancy <br />thereof as provided herein." <br /> <br />Section 15.04.070 SECTION 1204 AMENDED - EGRESS. The <br />following shall be added to Section 1204 of the Uniform Building <br />Code, 1985 Edition: <br /> <br />"At the time of construction when plumbing facilities for a <br />bathroom are provided in any floor below the fourth story including a <br />basement, at least one egress window shall be provided for such a <br />story as required for sleeping rooms below the fourth story." <br /> <br />Section l5.04.080 SECTION 3315 (B) AMENDED - MINIMUM AISLE <br />WIDTH. Section 3315(b) of the Uniform Building Code, 1985 Edition, <br />shall read as follows: <br /> <br />"In areas serving employees only having an occupant load of <br />ten or less, the minimum aisle width may be decreased from 36 inches <br />to 24 inches provided the maximum length of the aisle does not exceed <br />twenty feet." <br /> <br />Section 15.04.100 - SCHEDULE FOR WOOD FRAME CONSTRUCTION <br />VALUATION.
