Sustainability Advisory Board <br />Minutes <br />December 7, 2023 <br />Page 4 of 4 <br />Next, the group talked about outreach and engagement and the following ideas <br />were discussed: measure success through clicks, multiplier, partnerships with <br />school, community based orgs, tabling opportunities are a good way to connect <br />with people, partner with building inspectors to get the word out about <br />sustainability programs (or train them to disperse the info), heat pump co-op <br />program similar to SUN, could also consider lawn removal, "certification" for <br />companies, neighborhood captain idea in all 3 cities (SNN, Eco-leaders, Train <br />the Trainer), home electrification workshops for all 3 cities, collective funding pool <br />for rebates/incentives, school challenge for Home Energy Squad sign up. <br />The Managers told the boards that they would discuss this feedback, make <br />decisions and provide updates to each board in the January meetings. <br />Sub -Committee and Board Member Updates — <br />None <br />Administrative Tasks — <br />Staff to write next Spotlight, due December 15 <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting — <br />The Board did not discuss future agenda items. <br />Adjourn — <br />Tiffany moved to adjourn the meeting and Josh seconded the motion. The <br />meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m. <br />
