LCityof <br />Louisville <br />City Manager's Office <br />o 1 of the attic insulation jobs was completed in conjunction with an air source <br />heat pump replacing a gas heating system. <br />• Commercial Research <br />o The City's Sustainability Division will be partnering with a CU-Anschutz graduate <br />class to conduct research on Louisville's commercial building stock in an effort to <br />target businesses with PACE rebates and programming. <br />• 2024 PACE Support <br />o The City is funding a PACE fellow at 10 hours per week, likely beginning in April <br />2024, to enhance commercial decarbonization. <br />• Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) Climate Pollution Reduction Planni <br />CPRG <br />o The Sustainability Division has been participating on the DRCOG steering <br />committee for this project and supporting implementation grant proposals that <br />directly result in community decarbonization within the DRCOG region. <br />• Boulder County Greenhouse Gas Inventory <br />o Boulder County has published the updated countywide greenhouse gas <br />emissions inventory story map and the consumption -based emissions inventory <br />dashboard. <br />o Louisville emissions from 2016 to 2021 decreased 13.6%, due to overall decrease <br />in electricity emissions and vehicle miles traveled (VMT). <br />Council Work Plan Items <br />• The City's Comprehensive Plan project has begun. Stay up to date with the project here. <br />• The City's Downtown Vision project will host a stakeholder engagement workshop in <br />late January. LSAB members are invited to join, learn more about the project and <br />provide input. Additionally, there is a survey open now. <br />• Energy code amendments will go to Council on March 5. <br />• LSAB's 2024 Work Plan will go to Council on March 12. <br />• The Community Decarbonization Plan will go to Council on March 19. <br />o Staff will not be asking Council to adopt the Plan, but will be asking Council to <br />update the Climate Action Goals to align with the targets outlined in the Plan. <br />o The Community Decarbonization Plan will be included in the February LSAB <br />packet. Please read the document before the meeting and come prepared to <br />discuss the Plan and associated Climate Action Goals update, draft a Council <br />memo outline and appoint an LSAB member to write the memo for inclusion in <br />the Council packet. <br />2 <br />
