He noted that he had initially <br />promised to keep meetings to ninety minutes; he kept this promise quite well in <br />his first year as chair, but meetings have run a bit longer in his second year as <br />chair. He noted that he works well with Kayla and that he would maintain the <br />course of the past two years. The Board now has the Internal and Community <br />Decarbonization Plans on which to draw. <br />Megan endorsed Tiffany for vice -chair <br />All Board members voted for Todd for chair. All Board members voted for Tiffany <br />for vice -chair <br />Sub -Committee and Board Member Updates — <br />John put forward four ideas for the Board's next meeting: a letter to the relevant <br />State agencies or representatives expressing support for stricter regulations on <br />gasoline -powered landscaping equipment, a letter to relevant agencies or <br />representatives about planning for a rail station in Louisville, a change in the <br />Board's mission statement to explicitly reference decarbonization, and an inquiry <br />with Public Works about methane capture at the wastewater treatment plant. <br />Kayla replied that she could address the last idea. <br />Administrative Tasks — <br />Tiffany to write the next Sustainability Spotlight, due January 23. <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting — <br />The Board did not discuss future agenda items_ <br />Adjourn — <br />Kevin moved to adjourn the meeting and Megan seconded the motion. The <br />meeting was adjourned at 8,03 p.m. <br />
