February 21, 2024 <br />Re: Staff Updates <br />Projects and Programs <br />• Resource Central <br />c The City is partnering with Resource Central to offer water conservation <br />programming for residents and businesses in 2024. Programs include: Lawn <br />Replacement, Garden in a Box, Waterwise Yard Seminars, Slow the Flow <br />Sprinkler Assessments and Smart Controller Installations. More information <br />about these programs can be found here. <br />• Solar United Neighbors <br />o There are 60 Louisville residences registered through the solar co-op. 21 of the <br />residences have signed the installation contract, accounting for 141 kW of PV. <br />• City of Louisville/EnergySmart rebates <br />o City of Louisville rebates are still available for residential energy efficiency and <br />electrificaticn projects. <br />■ Commercial Research <br />o The CU-Anschutz graduate class has started conducting research on Louisville's <br />commercial building stock in an effort to target businesses with PACE rebates <br />and programming. <br />Council Work Plan Items <br />■ The City's Comprehensive Plan project has begun. Stay up to date with the project here. <br />o First Comprehensive Plan online survey will be available Soon, through early <br />April. <br />o In person Comprehensive Plan Open House tentatively scheduled for <br />Wednesday, March 20 from 4:30 — 6:30 p.m. at the Louisville Recreation & <br />Senior Center. <br />1 <br />
