LL City of <br />Louisville <br />City Manager's Office <br />* The City's Downtown Vision project will host an open house event on Thursday, <br />February 22 from 5:30 — 7:00 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers. LSAB members are <br />invited to join, learn more about the project and provide input. Additionally, there is a <br />survey open now. <br />• Solid waste contract proposals will go to Council on March 5. <br />• LSAB's 2024 Work Plan will go to Council on March 12. <br />■ The Community Decarbonization Plan will go to Council on March 19. <br />• Energy code amendments will go to Council on April 2. <br />Grants <br />• The City of Louisville, in collaboration with Boulder County and municipalities, have <br />been awarded $4.9 million from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal <br />Highway Administration (FHWA) Charging and Fueling Infrastructure (CFI) Discretionary <br />Grant. <br />o The grant will support the installation of 94 public level 2 chargers and 20 public <br />level 3 chargers throughout the county, prioritizing areas where multifamily <br />residences lack accessible charging. <br />• The City of Louisville, in collaboration with the Front Range Beneficial Electrification <br />Network (FRBEN) and the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) are <br />applying for the EPA's Carbon Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) to accelerate building <br />electrification in the region. <br />o The application is due April 1, 2024 and the group will likely be applying for <br />$100M+ in funding. <br />• The City is applying for the Department of Revenue's Alternative Transportation Option <br />Tax Credit to support the purchase of e-bikes for a municipal a -bike library, to <br />encourage employees to reduce VMT throughout the work day. <br />• The Sustainability Division is collaborating with the Public Works Fleet team to assess <br />electric vehicle options for fleet upgrades, funding from the Colorado Energy Office is <br />available to support conversion to EVs. <br />LSAB (January meeting follow up) <br />• The City is not able to post board agendas at Kestrel, as it's not a city -owned facility. The <br />board may be interested in creating a flyer that directs people to the LSAB webpage for <br />information about meetings. The City is required to review and approve any potential <br />flyer before publication and posting. <br />
