Open Space and Parks will have separate budget <br />now. Council will be meeting with finance expert next month for <br />overview, Council to approve budget in March. Louisville's sales tax <br />has seen 10% growth, in particular from online sales from Amazon. <br />Capital Projects: <br />Capital projects funded next for next year include two playground <br />renovations, plus continued median renovations. <br />Master Long Range Plan approved, will be included in City <br />Comprehensive plan, which is under preparation by Council. <br />Funding is available for 2 % Park Signs, City Council supports <br />replacement of Annette Brand and Centennial Park Signs. <br />Arboretum improvements: <br />Chris has ordered replacement sign for trees. <br />Park Renovations: <br />Parks Dept. proposed some modifications to reduce costs of planned <br />renovations at Joe Carnival Park. PPLAB provided feedback on <br />options for equipment modifications and equipment removal. <br />renovations.
