Arts Advisory Board <br />Agenda <br />Wednesday, January 16, 2024 <br />City Hall <br />Members of the public are welcome to attend and give comments remotely; however, the in - <br />person meeting may continue even if technology issues prevent remote participation. <br />You can call in to (719) 359-4580 Webinar ID #847 8880 5269 <br />You can log in via your computer. Anyone may also email <br />comments to the Board prior to the meeting at ClerksOffice@LouisvilleCO.gov. <br />1. Call to order- 6:32pm called by JR Ketelsen <br />2. Roll call- (absent Beth McLennan and Kenny Vasko) JR Ketelsen, Sarah Staunton, Shelli <br />Rottschafer, Reina Pomeroy, Mohamed Ghali, Sharon Nemechek (interim staff liaison). <br />3. Approval of the January 2024 agenda- <br />- JR suggests that we remove item 19 - does not think that we need to have a vote on it. <br />- JR makes motion, Sarah seconds, no opposed, approved. <br />4. Approval of December 2023 minutes- <br />-JR motions to approve, Shelli seconds, no opposed, approved. <br />5. Public Comments- <br />- Email from Josh Cooperman about his opinion on the current arts and culture scene in <br />Louisville, he suggests that it has been on the decline. <br />- Sarah suggests that we get a city survey together and ask the City Council to gather <br />information on what the people of Louisville are interested in attending. Additionally, <br />survey whether the residents also feel that there is a decline in the arts scene downton. <br />- Shelli asks what has changed over time- what used to happen with arts and culture vs <br />now. First Fridays being canceled is an example. <br />6. Introduction of Arts Advisory Board members, city staff, welcome new members. <br />
