<br />Discussion/Direction – Preliminary 5-year Capital Plan <br />Capital improvement projects for the next five years were reviewed. Council requested that staff <br />include narratives to describe each project, group the projects by major funding source, and email the <br />information out to Council for their consideration. <br /> <br />City Manager Items <br />Bill Simmons distributed information regarding bond debt and sales tax rates for the Louisville Public <br />Library and Louisville Recreation/Senior Center ballot issues. Council requested that staff also <br />include scenarios on projected revenues for the McCaslin Interchange Business Improvement <br />District, as well as hotel and movie theatre taxes. <br /> <br />Other Items <br />Heather Balser distributed copies of a letter from Todd Anderson, Xcel Energy, regarding the City’s <br />request for the cost of maintaining the downtown streetlights. She reported that the City has also <br />received a request from Boulder County Commissioner Ron Stewart for a list of suggested open <br />space improvement projects. Keith Williams agreed to present the request to the Open Space <br />Advisory Board for their suggestions. <br /> <br />Dianne Ray, Finance Director, explained the City’s water rebate program for seniors. <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, provided a brief review of the tap fees charged by surrounding <br />municipalities for senior assisted living units. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> 3 <br />
