<br /> <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br /> <br />October 26, 2004 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in a study session at 6:30 p.m. in City Council <br />Chambers, City Hall, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. The following persons were present: <br /> <br />City Council: Mayor Pro-Tem Jay Keany, Don Brown, Jr., <br />Dave Clabots, Arnold Levihn, Sheri Marsella, <br />Michele Van Pelt <br /> <br />Staff Present: Bill Simmons, City Manager <br />Patty Leslie, Finance Director <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director <br />Heather Balser, Assistant City Manager for <br />Governmental Relations <br />Meredyth Muth, Community Facilitator <br /> <br />Council Members met with the Planning Commission for an Update on the Comprehensive Plan: <br /> <br />The following Planning Commission members and Consultants were present: <br /> <br />Planning Commission: Michael Deborski, Debra Kalish, Jeff Lipton, <br />Susan Loo, Tom McAvinew, Bill McDermott, <br />Chris Pritchard <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan Consultants: Bruce Meighan, EDAW <br /> Bill Cunnigham, Leland Associates <br /> Kathy McCormick, McCormick & Associates <br /> <br />The Consulting Team presented an overview of the project to-date including the public feedback that <br />has been received at the public meetings. Next, they presented the two alternative land use plans <br />being considered and took comments to help get direction towards one preferred alternative land use <br />plan. That preferred plan will be presented at the November 18 public meeting. <br /> <br />Council and Planning Commission members discussed the plans and had particular questions relating <br />to the expected balance of housing units to jobs, the amount of office space the city can support, and <br />the need for appropriate commercial/retail development. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
