IL Z Cityot <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO SINCE 1882 <br />City Council <br />Water Committee <br />-Draft - Meeting Minutes <br />Friday, July 16, 2010 <br />Council Chambers, City Hall, 2 Floor <br />7:30 -9:00 am (Front doors will be unlocked at 7:15 am) <br />I. CaII to Order — Chairman Robert Muckle called the meeting to order at 7:35 am. <br />II. Roll CaII was taken and the following members were present: <br />City Council: Mr. Dalton, Mr. Muckle and Mr. Sisk <br />Absent: Mr. Phare and Mr. Hill <br />Staff Present: Mr. Fleming, Mr. Mason, Mr. Mathes, and Mr. Watson. <br />III. Approval of Agenda: Agenda approved. <br />IV. Approval of the Minutes: Minutes of February 12, 2010 meeting approved as <br />written. <br />V. PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA: no public comments <br />VI. Update — Water Resources <br />a. Water Supply & Demand Analysis — the usual table and chart, updated through <br />the end of June, was handed out showing the projected demand, storage and <br />diversions through the end of 2011. An additional chart showing how the <br />current year has compared to previous years was presented. A brief discussion <br />of overall water resource supply & demand, costs, and ultimate demands <br />followed. <br />b. Storage— storage is tracking with 2009 numbers, but is below the 5 year running <br />average, since we had a few exceptional good years. <br />VII. Update — Water Projects <br />a. Water Meter System (AMR) — Ken Mason provided an update on the projects <br />progress. To date approximately 96% of the roughly 6800 meters have been <br />replaced by City Staff and Mountain States Pipe and Supply (MSPS) <br />representatives.
