The <br />agenda was posted on the City's web site and at City Hall, the Louisville Public Library, the <br />Recreation Center and the Courts and Police Department Building on June 16,2006. <br /> <br />Conflict ofInterest and Disclosure: None <br /> <br />Staff Report of Facts and Issues: <br />Wood provided the following summary: <br />. The request to amend the Louisville Municipal Code (LMC), Section 17.12.040 and <br />Section 17.12.060 came forward in December 2005. <br />. The request has been reviewed with numerous modifications. <br />. Resolution No 28, Series 2006, recommends to City Council the following changes to <br />Section 17.12.040: <br />1. For the Downtown Commercial Community (CC) Zone District, Section <br />17.12.040 should be amended to allow for a maximum building height of 45' <br />for the commercial core area as defined in the Design Handbook for <br />Downtown Louisville, with the additional provision that, based on other <br />applicable criteria and the unique characteristics of the particular site, a lower <br />maximum building height may be required as part of a subdivision or <br />development plan approval for such site. <br />2. The maximum building height for that area in the Downtown Commercial <br />Community (CC), and Commercial Business (CB) Zone District described as <br />a transition area as defined in the Design Handbook for Downtown Louisville <br />should be amended to allow 35', with the additional provision that, based on <br />other applicable criteria and the unique characteristics of the particular site, a <br />lower maximum building height may be required as part of a subdivision or <br />development plan approval for such site. <br />.
