PAGE TWO
SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF REVOCABLE LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH CITIZENS
COMMUNITY TV TO LOCATE HEADEND IN CITY HALL
DATE: OCTOBER 5, 2010
There will be no connection between the City’s broadband, network or computers to
CCTV54’s system
The agreement does not include or infer technical support from City staff
The City may cancel the agreement with notice
An understanding that the termination of the contract the City has with CCTV54 to run
Channel 54 (approved in 2006) would also nullify this agreement.
It does note that this is an in-kind donation of both space and electricity to CCTV from
the City.
CCTV is still reviewing the agreement and may ask for some minor changes, therefore, staff
requests that staff be given authority to negotiate minor changes to the agreement if needed.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize Staff to negotiate minor changes to revocable license agreement, if needed, and
authorize the Mayor to sign the final agreement.
ATTACHMENT(S):
1. Revocable license agreement
46
