IV.Approval of Julymeeting minutes: Members approved the minutes. V.Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda . None. VI.Treasurer’s Budget:Dave Ferguson Dave presented the following report: Previous Balance$7,283.66 Expenses$222.21 Receipts$145.00 CD $25,000.00 Savings$4,804.85 Checking$7,206.45 Total $37,011.30 The Commissionapproved the Treasurer’s report. VII.Report from the Director of Library and Museum Services:Beth Barrett Beth reported that the Library Board of Trustees is looking forward to the joint meeting with the Historical Commission.A request for proposal is being prepared for a fire detection systemfor the Museum. It iscurrentlytargeted to be issued in Sept. and for work to be completed by December 2010.The Library’s summer reading program is now complete. It had high participationand contributed tothe June-July total for items checked atover 50,000 items. VIII.Museum Coordinator’s Report:Bridget Bacon a.Deeds of Gifts from donors.
