LLCity�f <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />Youth Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />03/07/24 <br />Louisville Public Library, Meeting Room 951 <br />Spruce Street <br />6:00 PM <br />Call to Order — Chairperson Lily called the meeting to order at 6:05. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Members Present: <br />Raymond, Bailey, Lexi, Soren, Arihant (virtual), Evan, Bella, Lily, Hazel, Kiana, Violet <br />Board Members Absent: <br />Nate (unexcused), Sam (excused), Sena (excused), Everett (excused) <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Jessica Schwartz <br />Mandy Perera <br />Approval of Agenda — The agenda was approved by all members. <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes — The minutes from the 2/01/24 meeting were approved as <br />written <br />Public Comments - <br />- Connecting green business mentors with youths <br />- 4-5 businesses will be giving a talk about their environmental <br />programs <br />- Students will be talking about their hopes and wishes <br />- Want publicity and sharing the word <br />- Want high school kids to join at Lafayette Library <br />- April 24th 6:30-8:00 <br />- April 4th meeting vote on whether to join <br />I. 2/21 LSAB meeting update — How did the presentation go? What were their <br />suggestions for us? <br />- Liked the idea but most kids want paper materials <br />- Paper wouldn't be a bad environmental problem <br />- Use paper hand-outs and have spanish translated versions <br />
