August 30, 1994
REQUEST FOR A SIGN VARIANCE
Applicants: The Seventh-Day Adventist Church
and
C,C&W
Variances Requested:
The Applicants are requesting a larger Offsite direction sign than the code allows. Said
sign will be converted to a permanent sign at the end of a two-year period. Said permanent sign
will meet the code size requirements.
Comments on Request:
* The applicants feel this is an unique situation in which all parties can benefit. The Church
receives an attractive permanent brick sign base at no expense, C, C and W has a larger more
aesthetically pleasing directional sign for the Waneka Landing development and the Public
benefits by having aesthetic signage in both situations.
The period of non -conformity is limited.
* This variance does not create any hardships on any adjoining property owners.
The review of this proposed sign variance is sincerely appreciated by the applicants.
Gary Caldron
aL_
