He stated Louisville residents highly value open space and trails. <br /> He commended the Parks and Open Space Divisions on the bid process. <br /> MOTION: Councilor Muckle moved to award the 2010 Soft Surface Trails Resurfacing <br /> Project to Age, Inc., seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Marsella. Roll call vote was taken. <br /> The motion carried by a vote of 6 -0. Absent: Councilor Clabots. <br /> PRESENTATION HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION 2010 <br /> PRESERVATION AWARDS OF MERIT <br /> Principal Planner Sean McCartney explained that the Historic Preservation Commission <br /> (HPC) gives awards of merit each year and recognized five sites in Old Town for their <br /> historic preservation efforts. He presented the following awards: <br /> Preservation of a Commercial' Building Eric and Patricia Tussey, Tussey Insurance, <br /> 921 Main built circa 1920. The building is very well preserved and retains its <br /> character, architectural integrity and feel. <br /> Preservation of a Residential Building Erin and Alexis Robertson, 1024 Grant <br /> Avenue built circa 1913. The building has been preserved very well and retains its <br /> character and architectural integrity. <br /> Preservation of a Residential Building Sandra Baine, 637 Lincoln Avenue built <br /> circa 1900. This home has been lovingly preserved and retains all of its character and <br /> architectural integrity. <br /> Historically Sensitive Addition David A. Buffer, 1008 Jefferson Avenue built circa <br /> 1906. The owners placed an addition on the home compatible with the existing home, <br /> created additional living space, and kept the historic facade and character of the home. <br /> Preservation of an Historic Element David and Julie Litoff, 310 West Spruce Street <br /> (Brick Grain Silo). The owners have maintained the historic and iconic grain silo. <br />
