Resolution No. 62, Series 2010 A Resolution Approving an <br /> Amendment to the Final Planning Unit Development (PUD) Plan to Allow <br /> for a Fuel Facility for King Soopers on Property Previously Approved for <br /> Lehrer's Flower Store (1712 Plaza Drive) <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> Alan Sobel, 1408 Kennedy Avenue, Louisville, CO continued the filibuster he began on <br /> April 6, 2010, which addresses his belief that the City of Louisville protects the interests <br /> of large corporations and not the residents' interests. He felt the City has not informed <br /> Louisville residents about their rights under the Cable Customer Service Standards <br /> Ordinance. He stated Comcast is seeking to acquire the NBC Universal Company's 44 <br /> cable channels and has hired 30 lobbying firms to assist with this process. Comcast will <br /> then have sole discretion on which channels it will offer in its cable packages. <br /> COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br /> AGENDA <br /> Councilor Muckle commented on the approval of Consent Agenda Item 41, the King <br /> Soopers fuel facility and felt it would provide discounted gas locally for King Soopers <br /> customers. Mayor Sisk agreed the King Soopers fueling station is their commitment to <br /> the City and would enhance the area. He thanked the Planning Staff for expediting the <br /> process. <br />
