Rommelfanger moved the <br /> consent agenda be approved. Machado seconded. Roll Call Vote: Lipton yes, <br /> Rommelfanger yes, Gunning yes and Machado yes. Consent agenda <br /> approved. <br /> Authority Business <br /> A. Public Hearing New Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License <br /> Application Bean and Berry, LLC d /b /a Bean and Berry 305 <br /> McCaslin Blvd. Suite 1 <br /> Lipton opened the public hearing on the new license application. Secretary <br /> Hanson stated the application was complete and included in the Authority packet. <br /> Background checks revealed no criminal history and the hearing had been <br /> posted and published in accordance with state law. <br /> No objections were entered to the boundaries of the neighborhood being the city <br /> limits of the City of Louisville. Lipton moved the entire application as contained in <br /> the Authority packets be made a part of the record of this hearing. <br /> Rommelfanger seconded. All in favor. <br /> Michaela DeGraw, 2527 W. 108 Avenue, Westminster, CO, introduced herself <br /> to the Authority and took the oath. Ms. DeGraw described the restaurant concept <br /> as a coffee and wine bar with breakfast burritos, sandwiches, salads, crepes and <br /> tapas. She reported they had opened for business and were just waiting for the <br /> liquor license. She responded to a question about liquor storage pointing out the <br /> locked storage on the diagram. Ms. DeGraw asked the Authority members if the <br /> patio needed to be permanently fenced. Authority members and Sergeant <br /> Lanphere advised her to at least consider signage and barriers to control the <br /> patio. <br /> Billy Perea, earlier identified as Ms. DeGraw's father, took the oath and voiced <br /> his support for the establishment. He stated he is a former police officer and <br /> investigator. He said he had been spending a lot of time at the restaurant and <br /> felt his daughter and her business partner would do a good job handling the <br /> business and he would always be around to help them. <br />
