Local Licensing Authority <br /> Minutes <br /> September 27, 2010 <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br /> Gunning moved the Local Licensing Authority of the City of Louisville find the <br /> applicant is of good moral character, the inhabitants of the neighborhood desire <br /> the license be granted, the license will meet the reasonable requirements of the <br /> neighborhood, all City and State law requirements have been met and, based on <br /> these findings, the Local Licensing Authority approve issuance of a Hotel and <br /> Restaurant liquor license for Bean and Berry, LLC d /b /a Bean and Berry. <br /> Machado seconded. Roll Cali Vote: Lipton yes, Rommelfanger yes, Gunning <br /> yes, and Machado yes. <br /> Police Department Reports <br /> Sergeant Lanphere reported on the Special Events permit for Volunteer <br /> Connection (Yellow Scene anniversary celebration). He stated there were some <br /> issues with the event the Authority should be aware of if another similar permit is <br /> requested. He was asked if any issues were so significant they needed to be <br /> addressed by the Authority. He said no, but he felt the downtown establishments <br /> and the organizer had some miscommunication about the way the event should <br /> work. <br /> Secretary's Report <br /> Secretary Hanson reported on attendees for the seller /server training on August <br /> 29, 2010. Forty -four people from Louisville establishments attended. Hanson <br /> thanked the Police Department for once again providing the training. <br /> Hanson stated the Downtown Business Association has approached her with the <br /> idea of the street -side patios remaining either longer or permanently. She <br /> reported they have decided to go ahead and take them down this year, but <br /> wanted to let the Authority know they may be asked to consider an extension <br /> next year. <br /> Authority Attorney's Report <br /> No report. <br /> Authority Comment <br /> Adjourn Rommelfanger moved to adjourn.
