The Commission <br />solicits public and private support for diverse <br />projects and programs dealing with the City's <br />history.” <br />For the Louisville Public Library, which like the <br />Louisville Historical Museum is a division of the <br />Department of Library & Museum Services, there is <br />a Library Board of Trustees appointed by City <br />Council and a separate Louisville Public Library <br />Foundation that is a 501c3 fundraising organization. <br /> <br />
