BRaD <br />Meeting Summary <br />November 1, 2010 <br />Page 4 of 4 <br />• Louisville staff and Council met with the County Commissioners on Monday, <br />October 25th, and the subject came up regarding the vacant Social Services building <br />they own on Main Street. Staff encouraged the County to make the window space <br />available in the vacated building. <br />• Safeway — Nothing to report — Bonnie still in touch with Safeway. <br />• King Soopers Gas — Project underway in week to 10 days. <br />• Fresca Foods at CTC proceeding to work on a 50,000 square foot warehouse. <br />• Large engineering company from Nevada looking at Louisville, and they have been <br />provided with marketing information. <br />• Council considering the sale of some land in CTC to Etkin Johnson. First reading <br />scheduled at November 16th Council Meeting. <br />• A second Vestas opportunity in Centennial Valley — an incentive sent out in <br />September. <br />• Sam's — Wal Mart still working with prospective buyer — maybe something by end of <br />year. <br />• Restaurant business is up for all indicators, however, some restaurants not doing <br />well. <br />• Colorado Downtown Inc. statewide group — Bonnie reported they have locked -in <br />Louisville for a workshop session in 2012 where an estimated 100 people involved <br />spend the day. <br />REPORTS FROM COMMITTEE MEMBERS — No other committee reports were given other than <br />the discussion of the CTC Trail Connection. <br />CITY STAFF UPDATE: Malcolm reported he attended a Takoda Metro District Meeting on Friday, <br />October 29th, and it was reported the bond funding is scheduled to come in sometime today, <br />November 1st <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS FOR THE NEXT MEETING ON DECEMBER 6TH: <br />• Downtown Pedestrian Plan <br />• Update on CTC Trail Connection — Design Costs for Alternative A and B <br />ADJOURN: The meeting adjourned at 9:30 a.m. <br />Next Meeting — Monday, December 6, 2010 <br />
