Objectives and Activities <br />By consultation with relevant parties, <br />understand what the golfing community <br />values <br />By comparison with comparable local golf <br />courses, advise the City Council on how <br />the Coal Creek golfing experience can stay <br />competitive with other Iocal facilities in <br />terms of service and value <br />Understand the demands and constraints <br />of the budget so that the GCAB can <br />propose appropriate trade -offs between <br />needs and resources. <br />Based on the results of the objectives <br />above, provide accurate advice to the City <br />Council and City staff <br />12/14/2010 <br />Solicited input from the golfing <br />community; created and reviewed <br />concern list with City Staff & Western Golf <br />staff; provided and disseminated progress <br />report monthly — published at golf course <br />Conducted "secret- shopper" surveys on <br />agreed list of local courses. Data collated <br />and summarized (summary in backup). <br />Soliciting input from Management of <br />selected Iocal courses to review <br />challenges and solutions. <br />Reviewed and discussed budget <br />documentation including national trends. <br />Researching priorities and opportunities <br />In progress <br />
