City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />October 26, 2010 <br />Page 4of 4 <br />Ron Sackett, council member, was credited with the idea of forming an Advisory <br />Board for the golf course. Ron thanked the Golf Course Advisory Board for their <br />work and indicated that things are better at the golf course, but still more to do. <br />Hank Dalton, council member, expressed his desire to have a restroom on the <br />back 9. <br />Golf Course Advisory Board would like another session with City Council. A <br />study session is plannedon July 12, 2011. <br />The Mayor thanked the members of the Advisory Board for their work, and said <br />they were a great testamentto the partnership the Golf Course Advisory Board, <br />City staff and Western Golf Properties has developed and to keep the <br />relationship going forward and upward. <br />City Manager’s Report <br />City Manager, Malcolm Fleming, presented the council meeting advanced <br />agenda and brieflyreviewed some of the upcoming agenda items. <br />Malcolm announced that the Goodhue Ditch and Reservoir Company held their <br />th <br />shareholders meeting on December 11and approved a match of City funds up <br />to $10,000 to install a concrete lining on a portion of their ditch that is adjacentto <br />the Elm Street neighborhood. <br />Malcolm reported on a couple of statistics from the Library announcing they are <br />about to break the half-million items checked outwhich is up over 10% from last <br />year. <br />Meeting adjourned at8:53p.m. –Next Study Session on January 11, 2011 <br />
